Why the Nutrition Informatics DPG?
The NI DPG of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Academy) was formed in 2019. We provide a welcoming environment for RDNs and NDTRs interested in technology.
If you are currently working in the field of nutrition informatics, you will find a community of like-minded professionals to bounce ideas and collaborate with. If you are interested in learning more about technology and how to incorporate informatics into your current position, you will find educational opportunities and mentors. If you are wishing to start or pivot your career path towards nutrition informatics, you can network, find job opportunities, and educational opportunities.
How to become a Nutrition Informatics DPG Member:
Members of NI DPG must be members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. There are three ways Academy members can join NI DPG: online, by phone or by mail.

- Keep an eye out for your membership materials in the mail
Concurrent membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is required. The membership years are June 1 through May 31st. Memberships are not prorated and are accepted for the current year May through February 28th of each year.
NI DPG is a dietetic practice group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Membership is open to all Academy members. For further information on Academy membership, visit the Academy Web site or call the Academy Accounting office at (800) 877-1600 x4884.
