Career Path

I love being a dietitian but knew I would never have a traditional role. From the start I was drawn to management and found myself working in every management position available to learn the systems. My path then led to roles where I was asked to look at large projects in multiple hospital systems. Working with the team at New York Presbyterian we went through a large scale project with CBORD that affected every area of the business. That led me into other roles and being asked to support automation efforts and efficiencies with the Mount Sinai system through Morrison and then other Morrison operations. I get satisfaction from being able to look at the automation systems and how they can support food service and clinical operations to streamline processes and get the data we need to manage operations.
