The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation accepts scholarship applications from students at all levels of study, including those accepted to and enrolled in dietetic technician, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, and dietetic internships.

Pay It Forward Campaign
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the DBC 'Pay It Forward' Challenge in March 2022 to benefit the Academy Foundation! DBC is pleased to announce this campaign exceeded its $1,000 goal, raising $1,170 to benefit the Academy Foundation!

Frederick Green Memorial Nutrition Communications Experience Award – Student/Dietetic Intern Application
The Foundation’s Frederick Green Memorial Nutrition Communications Experience Award was established to support nutrition and dietetics students in enhancing their capabilities and experience in the area of nutrition communications, specifically related to media and public relations, through a paid professional experience with a nutrition communications RDN specializing in these areas.
Applications are currently being accepted from dietetic students and interns interested in pursuing a professional experience with a nutrition communications RDN. Eligible students and interns, who meet the recipient criteria below, will rank their preferred experiences within their applications. The student or intern selected to receive this award will be matched to one of their preferred experiences with a nutrition communications RDN and receive a $3,000 award.
Applicant Eligibility Criteria:
-Must be a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
-Must be enrolled in a college or university program accredited by the Accreditation Council on Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
-Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in nutrition, dietetics, or closely related field, or accepted to a dietetic internship.
-Undergraduate students must have completed their junior year or be a new graduate accepted into an accredited dietetic internship that will
begin after completion of the summer experience.
-Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-Must have an interest in pursuing nutrition communications as part of her/his career path
